The Florida Transportation Plan (FTP) is the single overarching plan guiding Florida’s transportation future. Updated every five years, the FTP is a collaborative effort of state, regional, and local transportation partners in the public and private sectors.
The update of the FTP Policy and Performance Elements were recently completed and are now available for download and viewing.
Florida Transportation Plan Implementation Element Available
The FTP Implementation Element details how we will work toward implementation during the next five years. It details specific short-term actions and describes roles and processes for implementing the FTP and tracking progress toward accomplishing the vision and goals.
FTP Showcased During Poster Session at 101st TRB Annual Meeting
The partner and public involvement activities used during the update of the 2020 FTP were showcased during a poster session at this year’s TRB Annual Meeting. The poster described how the involvement process evolved and adapted to the many changes required throughout the update process. The poster also highlighted the benefits of the overall approach.
